For Badging, please remember to bring proper documentation:

ID Badge Application (all 5 pages)

Two Valid Forms of ID-1) Primary-Driver's License/State ID

2) Secondary-US Passport, Social Security Card, US Birth Certificate, Naturalization/Citizenship Certificate/Permanent Residency Card/I-94/Visa

Compliance functions will continue to be done in the Compliance Office without appointments/queuing. Compliance functions include:

Terminations, Citations, Signatory Maintenance, and Vehicle permits.

  • The I. D. Badging Hours at O'Hare are 7:00 am - 4: 30 pm. The Driver's Testing is administered from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.

  • Signatory Meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 10 am and 2 pm. Registration for attendance to these classes is available by calling (773) 686-3020.

  • Badges are not to be altered or defaced in any way. The only holes that are to be punched into the badge will be accomplished in the ID Badging office. Stickers or decals are not allowed to be affixed to the badges. Badges that are altered or tampered with are subject to fines starting at $50.00.

  • The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has revised the List of Acceptable Documents. Please click here to view what documents are acceptable at the ID Badging and Office of Compliance.

  • The CDA has instituted a new Access Control and Photo ID Badge Application. Please go to our forms link for more information.

  • ID Badges may be renewed as early as thirty days prior to their expiration dates. However once a badge expires, renewals must be processed within thirty days, or the applicant will be considered a New Issue applicant and will be required to submit to finger prints and all other associated New Issue requirements.
